Where is it?

After install all I see is a small window checking connection which shut down in just few seconds.

It is listed in >start >all programs  but, if I start up the program the same happen all the time!

There isn't any icon anywhere!

I use vista - 32 bit.

Re: Where is it?

Hi Luca and thanks...

Yes it is very strange!

When you say Taskbar, are you referring to Taskbar and Start Menu in Vista? No such action offered there as you recommend!

 “CTRL+ALT+CANC” what is CANC?

I downloaded the uninstaller, it does not remove the program from the computer, only from start, all files are still on my machine so I had to remove them manually.

After few more trials , it only show me the first window “loading” where it is trying to connect to skype, a task that seems to run for ever but never gets connection and that’s it. It does not show me anything in skype as shown in images on help pages.

Re: Where is it?

Hi Dennis,

the TASK MANAGER is a windows program for manage the processes (programs) load in ram ... for start the task manager or clic CTRL + ALT + CANC (the canc key is adjacent at INSERT key) and choose TASK MANAGER in windows popup or mouse right click in the windows taskbar and choose task manager ..... the task manager permit kill the processes ....

Windows Vista are very pedant for the user permission : please launch crypto setup with administrator permission (mouse right click > "Run as Administrator") and ALLOW crypto to use skype:

if the skype permission windows NOT APPEAR open skype and click menu TOOLS > OPTIONS: click tab ADVANCED > MANAGE OTHER PROGRAM'S ACCESS TO SKYPE (is a link on the bottom): select in the list "LFCryptoChat4Skype.exe" click CHANGE and select "Allow this program to use Skype"

Please tell me the skype version you use .... now is 4.2 and crypto run normally with this last version!

Remember run also the Uninstaller with administrator permission (mouse right click > "Run as Administrator") : if you are error please tell me !

Thank for use Crypto Chat 4 Skype

Best regards

Re: Where is it?

Hi Luca.

I have not explore Skype and was not aware of the link to manage other programs to allow access to skype!

You should put this below first image on help pages as this is what worked for me, all other recommendation you mentioned did not work for me.

As it didn’t work after install as described on help pages, how should I know beforehand all I needed to do was to open skype and give permission to CryptChat!?
